This birth support rope is a wonderful addition to the birthing room. Pulling downwards in labour using a rope or cloth is an age old labour tool. The birth support rope is 61cm wide and 360cm long and comes in a variety of colours.

The birth support rope can be securely attached to the ceiling over mats, birth pools or any convenient spot in the birthing room. Using a birth support rope can potentially shorten the second stage of labour by helping facilitate women into an upright position such as squatting or kneeling.

Ideal for demonstrating upright birthing positions, the birth support rope can be used by educators and midwives in a clinic or when teaching pregnancy and birth classes.

Nor do we sell the hardware.  Because each scenario is different, we leave that to the customer to find the most appropriate way to fasten based on their specific situation.   This would be a better question for the hospital/clinic maintenance to find out the weight capacity of beams in ceiling, and to find the right type and weight capacity of hooks.
